A maid working at your house might worry about her daughter’s marriage.

Though the reasons vary, situations vary, and intensity varies, all of us undergo some worry/disturbance at any given point in time.

Stress is an unavoidable aspect of life. Unexpected challenges often arise, and they can significantly impact your mental well-being.

People handle stress differently.

You can simply prevent stress from taking you from ever happening in the first place.

With the given guidance, you should at least be equipped properly to handle it.

Emotional instability is a feeling we get when things are getting a bit too intense for our liking.

  • It is a feeling of helplessness and exhaustion.
  • There is a drain of mental/physical energy.
  • Even the simplest thing might appear so complex while you undergo internal disturbance.
  • You are not comfortable and at ease with yourself.
  • A gush of thoughts will pour in, leading to overthinking.
  • If you’re stressed by your job, relationships, or workplace, the first step to feeling better is identifying the cause.

As we move on, we will discuss further in the next articles. Right now, follow these simple activities. Depending on your stress levels, try to do these things.

·       Talk with your loved ones. It releases Oxytocin, which helps reduce Stress. Dopamine, serotonin, endorphins, and Oxytocin are feel-good hormones produced in our body, which also help to balance stress levels. You can boost these hormones with simple lifestyle changes, like diet, exercise, and meditation, improving your mood.

·       Sleep for 8 hours. Good sleep produces Melatonin, a naturally occurring hormone that helps regulate sleep and promote the healthy functioning of your biological clock.

·       Have a healthy diet. Eating nutritional food boosts the growth of good bacteria. This will positively affect the production of happy hormones.

·       Cultivate the habit of book reading. It’s a balanced way of producing dopamine rather than spending time on social media, which urges quick dopamine highs.

·       Help those around you. Whenever we help others, our brains release Oxytocin, serotonin, and dopamine. These hormones boost our mood and immediately help us to counteract the effect of cortisol (the stress hormone)

·       Keep that positive mindset. Practice techniques like Ikigai. Break down big problems into smaller, easier-to-handle problems. Be aware of yourself. Meditation practices help to release serotonin, a neurotransmitter for calmness.

·       Spend time in nature. You know trees can absorb your thoughts and make you peaceful? So whenever possible, go for walks in parks or spend time in nature by gardening.
