We are preoccupied with ourselves internally with our thoughts, assumptions and beliefs.
Inner silence to most of them is quite challenging because of the fast paced life.
You can have branded items, luxorious cars and a stabled life.
But its the internal experience which defines the richness of life.
A life where you are at ease with yourself, where you are calm inside.
Silence is not the opposite of noise but the cessation of inner conflict.
What happens then is something magical.
Ways for Inner silence
We begin to see a new way to live, and a deeper experience reveals itself to us.
What is ment by slience here in this context?
Well! There are many answers to this but i have put down what ever i have learnt in my spiritual journey.
Finding moments of calm and stillness
Our modern world, filled with noise, distractions, and busyness, can be challenging.
We intentionally need to create space for silence through meditation, solitude, or introspection.
Then, there is quietness in thought and action in our focus.
It expands our awareness, allowing us to gain clarity and deeper insight into ourselves and our surroundings around the hole.
Inner silence comes by slowing down for a few minutes physically — means avoiding walking around, avoiding multitasking on the computer or phone, and instead just moving inwards or coming into some silence or slowness.
Leap in Consciousness
When the inner noise is reduced it is then we become more appreciative of the beauty of life. Senses will become sharp and we develop a greater ability to observe and perceive the world more clearly.
We begun to notice the wonderful details in nature, subtle feelings about ourselves and others.
We can see the beauty of manifestation of the interconnectedness of all things.
By being inwardly quiet, we increase our awareness.
It doesn’t mean you have to meditate — although, of course, that’s one way.
You can even take a short walk sit and watch the sunrise and sunset. Observing nature and birds also helps to have a different expereince.
Digital Disconnect
Disconnect from technology, at least for a few minutes through out the day.
Start reading and being in the nature for some time like an hour or so.
We are habituated in such way that we need some external factors to be happy.
But it doesn’t mean everytime you have to depend on some one or something to be happy.
For example, many want to feel productive, competent. It is not wrong but they sometimes go out of their way to achieve those feelings. But remember productivity is also a result of inner stability.
When mind is calm, one can function more effectively.
Active Listening
This is meant to pay attention to other person when they are talking, not predefining or judging them.
This type of deep listening focuses on connecting with others, the energy behind words, and the underlying essence of a situation or interaction.
It allows us to listen what others communicate beyond the surface, and we respond with empathy and understanding.
We don’t want to be bored, lonely, sad and helpless … so we do everything possible to avoid these feelings.
But how long one can escape from oneself? So better listen to your inner chatter and accept it.
Connecting with inner wisdom
We tap into our inner wisdom and intuition by cultivating inner silence.
When the noise of our mind subsides, we can access the wisdom within. This inner knowing comes from a deeper place beyond the limits of the rational mind.
That is the mode of creation. Creation happens in the mode of silence.
It is a source of guidance and insight that can provide valuable answers, solutions, and direction in our lives. As we practice silence, this inner wisdom becomes readily available.
Silence and stillness are not the most desirable things where you can make a lot of money or have a following or a fan base.
But in my experience, the most profound experience of life lies in silence.
To be present and mindful
The act of stillness brings us into the present moment.
It immerses us in the here and now, allowing us to fully experience each moment with heightened awareness.
When we are truly present, we participate in life authentically and meaningfully.
We can appreciate the beauty in simple moments, deeply connect with others, and find peace and contentment in our present experience.
Wrap Up
Listening more and talking less doesn’t just mean keeping quiet;
When we truly listen, we not only understand others better, but it also deepens our relationships.
Inner silence is a great secret to build a powerhouse in you.
It’s about finding strength in silence.
