Exploring the Essence of Spirituality in Self-Discovery

We are in a world that is so fast-paced, in a world that is so obsessed with achieving more.

Yet a group of people were also searching, exploring, and asking how much more I could expand. How much more could I grow?

I hope that this blog will make a difference in all your questions.

On the verge of Self-discovery

Self-discovery

Life is all about creating a balance.

A balance between the intellect and the emotion.

A balance between achievement and fulfilment.

A balance between the yang and the yin of ourselves,

A balance between relationships that we love and achievements that we so relish.

What creates achievement?

The word achievement is often perceived as unapproachable by many individuals

Success also sounds equally vulgar. Perhaps growth sounds a little softer?

No matter what, we all know that there is no one particular time when we say I have grown, I have achieved or that I have succeeded all the time because life essentially moves in cycles.

Life essentially moves in seasons.

There are seasons where we have amazing relationships.

We had amazing relationships, great fulfilment, great joy.

We also have had seasons where we had few challenges, even in relationships.

Even in terms of our external achievements and accomplishments, we have had seasons.

We have had a season where we saw – wow! I have been an example to the society today.

Everybody is looking up at me.

The other day, there were times when you said I had made the greatest and the most foolish decision that anybody could ever make. There are people laughing at my back.

We are having seasons or cycles.

We can’t deny it.

But what becomes strenuous is when the particular season stretches.

When a particular season stretches and does not seem to end.

When the seasons don’t seem to move with the speed with which we want them to move.

That is when we get uncomfortable.

Can we do something about it?

Sometimes, when a season stretches in our relationships, there is hurt.

Where there was love at one point in time, there is hurt, there is pain.

What is it for me to walk up to a person, apologize, and relinquish in love with that person? I continue to love that person, and they do not apologize. The person knows I am hurt, but the other person does not care.

What do I do in this kind of situation? I am fragmented; I am broken.

A part of me wants to get close, but a part of me is rebelling against its self-respect; it says no, I don’t want to.

That is where you need spiritual strength.

What is Spiritual Strength?

People who have spiritual strength are extra-auspicious, ie courageous

  • They can regroup themselves and once again get back to life.
  • When people do not have that spiritual potential within themselves, they crack.
  • They live as though they are broken into a million splinters.
  • They carry those pains, those pricking pieces within themselves, and carry on along life.

That is why, no matter our background, let me tell you I am not talking about religion. Though it is good and it serves its purpose.

Do you know that spirituality is different from religion?

Most people get confused between the two.

They think both are the same, while they are not.

Today, we are going to discuss something that is in us,

Something that is who we are,

Something that is real,

That is spiritual.

Spirituality deals with the internal world. The internal world is nothing but working on oneself.

A person who is aware of his own thoughts, words, and actions.

Being spiritual is leading a life of unmasking ourselves.

All of us  2 sides.

The good and the bad.

Beautiful and Dark side.

Most of us would love to appreciate the good in us.

We have the darker side, which has emotions like jealousy, hatred, envy, fear.

Knowing that we are a blend of both and accepting those is spirituality.

Just looking within.

Of course, it may seem to be easy, but it could be a challenge in the initial stage.

To know about oneself truly, one needs high energy.

It needs high awareness.

Just be without any filters and masks.

Here, we are asking only to be true to yourself.

You need not show it to the world.

A spiritual person will have the courage and strength to face life’s adversities.

Normally, what happens is we project something outside while we are not.

We act brave but still have fear.

We show off love and gratitude while we have pride.

That’s how all of us are.

But when you realize your mistakes and hidden agendas, that’s when there is freedom.

That is the power of truth.

That’s when there is the intervention of the divine because you are empty.

There is no carryover of the baggage. There is no residue of the past.

They just live in the present. Flow with life.

That’s an experience that all of us need to be grounded in.

Our blogs will help you understand and get there.

We would love to share your thoughts on this.!

Stay tuned!

Happy Reading.
